Versatile, bright and joyful, just like sunshine. This best-selling oil can be used in so many ways, making it a staple for every home. Here are some of the ways we use Lemon Vitality to bake, cook, and support daily wellness!

Just a drop of Lemon Vitality…

  • Add Lemon Vitality to a tall glass of cold water for a fresh, antioxidant-infused drink to start your day.
  • Add 1–2 drops to a vegetarian gel capsule and take daily for immune support.
  • Blend a drop in Gary's True Grit Einkorn Pancake and Waffle Mix batter and top your breakfast with fresh fruit for a healthy meal that tastes like lemon poppy seed cake.

Lemon Herbed Olive Oil

  • 10 ounces extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 drops Lemon Vitality
  • 2 drops Rosemary Vitality
  • 2 drops Basil Vitality
  • Handful of freshly sliced lemons
  • Handful of rosemary and basil
  • Pour the olive oil into a pot or saucepan. Keep on low heat until it starts to bubble. Mix in the herbs. Let it simmer until the oil is fragrant. Be sure not to let the herbs brown.
  • Turn off the heat and let the mixture cool. Add drops of Vitality oil into the mixture. Remember, less is more. Start with fewer drops, then add more to taste if desired.
  • Funnel the mixture into bottles.

DIY Citrus Vinegar

  • Vinegar is a tangy topping that can pair well with desserts or entrees. Sweeten your vinegar with citrus favorites that'll up the ante on your favorite dishes. You can also substitute balsamic vinegar for a slightly sweeter final product!
  • 12 ounces organic white wine vinegar
  • 1 small grapefruit
  • 1 small lime
  • 1 small orange
  • 3 drops Orange Vitality
  • 3 drops Lime Vitality
  • 3 drops Grapefruit Vitality
  • Slice fruit and put in a 16-ounce bottle or jar. Pour vinegar into a saucepan and bring to a simmer on the stove. Add vinegar to your bottle or jar over the fruit. Let stand at room temperature for 8 hours, then add Vitality oils. Shake well before using because oil and vinegar don't mix.

Sweet and Tangy Balsamic Vinaigrette

  • 2 teaspoons organic balsamic vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 4 drops Grapefruit, Lemon, Lime, or Orange Vitality essential oil
  • 4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • Whisk all ingredients together until well combined. Pairs well with fresh basil, Roma tomatoes, and mozzarella balls.

Simple Vinaigrette

  • 2 tablespoons organic apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon raw, organic honey
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1 tablespoon grated onion
  • 2 drops Lemon Vitality essential oil
  • 4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • Whisk all ingredients together until well combined. Pairs well with mixed green salad, chicken, Young Living Organic Dried Wolfberries, parmesan, and walnuts.

Spiced Cider with Essential Oils

  • 2 quarts fresh apple cider
  • 1 orange, unpeeled and cut into slices
  • 3 drops Lemon Vitality essential oil
  • 1 drop Cinnamon Bark Vitality essential oil
  • 1 drop Clove Vitality essential oil
  • 1 drop Nutmeg Vitality essential oil
  • Cinnamon sticks, for serving
  • Combine apple cider, orange slices, and essential oils in a large pot and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes or more. Discard orange slices. Serve warm. Add 1–2 cinnamon sticks to individual cups when serving.

Mocktail Bloody Mary Try this twist on the classic Bloody Mary! Boosted with Vitality oils and easily customizable to different palates, this version is fun for the whole family.

  • Lemon wedges
  • Sea salt
  • 6 ounces tomato juice
  • 1 drop Black Pepper Vitality
  • Toothpick swirl of Lime Vitality
  • Toothpick swirl of Celery Seed Vitality
  • Toothpick swirl of Lemon Vitality
  • 1 drop hot sauce
  • Celery stick (optional)
  • Salt the rim of a highball or old-fashioned glass by running a lemon wedge around the rim then rolling the outer edge of the glass in sea salt. Fill the glass with ice and set aside.
  • Squeeze a lemon wedge into a shaker and drop it in. Add tomato juice, Vitality oils, a dash of hot sauce to taste, and ice to the shaker. Shake gently to mix. Strain into prepared glass.
  • Garnish with celery or your favorite toppings.

Cucumber Lemon Cooler

  • ½ cucumber
  • 2–3 drops Lemon Vitality
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1 tablespoon raw, organic honey
  • 4 ounces club soda or sparkling water
  • Mint leaves for garnish, if desired
  • Chop the cucumber into small pieces and mix with Lemon Vitality, lemon juice, and honey in a bowl. Let sit for 10 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse. Place cucumber mixture in the bottom of a mason jar and pour club soda on top. Add ice and mix well. Add mint for garnish and enjoy!

DIY Lemon Lime Ice Cubes

  • One lemon
  • One lime
  • 6 drops Lemon Vitality essential oil
  • 6 drops Lime Vitality essential oil
  • 10 ounces water
  • Cut the lemon and lime into six pieces each and squeeze the juice from each wedge into a bowl. After the juice is squeezed out, drop the wedges into the bowl. Add essential oils to the bowl. Mix well to combine the juice with the oil and cover the fruit. Place a lemon or lime wedge in each ice cube mold. Cover with water and freeze.
