Since we’re ramping up our energy levels this month, let’s look at a way that we can deal with our EMOTIONS and stress levels in order to amplify those results.

We know that each essential oil (and blend) has an emotional influence, which we can see clearly with things like Cinnamon, Lemon, Lavender, Peppermint, Joy, etc. Pure essential oils help our mind to relax and deal with stress triggers that are programmed into our brain, our nervous system, and all of our cells.

Motivation is a blend of Lavender, Roman Chamomile, Spruce, and Ylang Ylang.

It releases the emotion of “inertia.” I had to look that word up, and I was glad I did - I would have translated it as lazy, or stuck. But it actually means:

“A tendency to do nothing or to remain unchanged.”

Oi…

So when you diffuse or wear Motivation, you aren’t necessarily going to have an “on” button for just anything you think needs doing. It will begin to help you LET GO of unchanged thought patterns, outdated self-harming habits, limitations, and things that are keeping you stuck and going round and round the same issue instead of moving forward.

Interestingly, this blend is full of RELAXATION oils. I find it ironic that when I’m pushing myself the hardest to do something, a better approach might be to...let go. Let go of complete control, of worry, of blaming someone else that it isn’t done, and of fearing what will come next if I move forward.

This oil blend is really about letting go of whatever has emotionally caused us to resist moving forward. Sometimes working through that before tackling the project or problem itself is the best thing that we can do for ourselves and the others in our life.

ACTIVATION:

  • Grab your Motivation blend. Place several drops into a diffuser near the area where you are “working” (anything that requires you making a choice to address and move forward).
  • Grab some NingXia or oily water and sit down for a minute.
  • Inhale some straight from the bottle or rub a couple drops into your hands and cup them over your face and breathe deeply.
  • Allow yourself to consider if there is anything about your approach to the task that is outdated. Are you being critical of yourself? Are you doing the task resentfully, or with the attitude of a martyr when you could be communicating with someone else and changing your approach? Do you need to let go and finish instead of over-thinking or worrying? Give yourself time to see things from a different perspective before you move on.
  • Go on with what you need to do, and then several times throughout the week, repeat. It might take time to see your goals or tasks differently, but the process going on in your brain here is all about releasing an old program from your cells.

It’s TIME to let go of our procrastination program, our stuck program, our fear program, and our self-doubt program. It can’t wait until tomorrow! Your body is waiting for you to take the holistic approach of healing, body, mind, and spirit TODAY! You won’t regret taking this self-care step to enhance the rest of your efforts.
